Ana Lucia and Libby were not sacrifices the island demanded Foy. They were Michael's decision. He made a poor one. Curb quote: Now having said that... I never fully blamed Michael. He did what he had to do... or so he thought. THEY TOOK HIS SON!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree but after rewatching the show I believe Michael is a villain. I get the father angle but to do what he's willing to do makes him a villain.

ReplyDeleteQuestion... Is Sawyer a villain? He killed the shrimp shack guy, sure he was tricked, but he still killed him. And he INTENDED to kill the guy had he been the right person.
Libby killed countless boners, so she's a villain too.

ReplyDeleteDidn't we learn throughout the show that the lines between villain and hero are often blurred? Even Blackie had his reasons.
ReplyDelete2 good points. But Michael wasn't put in nearly as many situations to prove his heroism. He helped whenever he could. Tried to get Jack out of the caves, beat up a tired Korean guy (kidding). And at least he tried to save his kid, rather than abandoning it like your hero Sawyer.
ReplyDeleteSawyer is top 5 characters for me by the way. Just always thought Michael got crapped on... even before he shot Ana-Lucia.
I agree about the blurring of the villain vs hero line but I never said to abandon Walt. Just go do what they always do enlist the help of Jack Locke Sawyer and syid and have Kate fuck it up. Rather then trying to hand over the important islanders

ReplyDeleteThey never said where she went. One of the internet communities biggest beefs. Personally I don't care tooooo much, does seem a little strange though... why not use an adult her int he sideways world at least?
ReplyDeleteSo visions and what not. I was thinking that they were all the MiB doing but now with off island visions I'm not sure. But jacob jyst doesn't seem the vision type. I do think that ben was working for jacob but I feel like whether he knew itt or not he was working for MiB too
